Joy was dejected. Khushi knew that this was a rarity. She told herself “I need to be patient today, perhaps, help Joy just like he does in these situations.”
“Currently not much to do for all of us kids, right?” – Khushi said aloud. “We have summer holidays, but we can’t go out to play, or meet our friends and family. We are all stuck in our houses.” Meh!
“I am an outdoor person, you know that, Khushi. This is tough, my parents surely have placed a lot of effort into having a positive mindset and adjusting according to the situation, but, now, it’s really difficult. I am feeling very low.

Khushi thought for a while, and remembered what her mother was reading out from a blog. “It is important to always be positive – but what’s even more important is to take Positive ACTIONS.”, she said. Khushi had understood, but not entirely, therefore, her mother explained to her what this exactly means and how do we put it to action.
She said – “if you want to work around problems like the current one, you need the following:

  • Pen and paper
  • Put your thinking cap on.”

“Let’s jot down activities or make a to-do list of activities, which we think will be fun, or you’ll get new knowledge, explore more information about your hobbies/dreams/goals in life.” said Khushi

To their amazement, this is what they came up within about 15 mins –

“Now, that we have our lists ready, let’s prioritize the most important points on the list, and take a few printouts. We can stick them at places where we are most likely to see them. Ex: the mirror and at our desk. It is said that the more we see these lists, the more likely we are, to implement the tasks or goals mentioned on them. Joy was thrilled to bits now. He got a whole new perspective and was prepared to give it a shot. He was grateful to Khushi and said, “Today, you have given a great gift to your Guru! I would like to share this with all of my friends, so that we can spread the power of positive action.”
