It was almost three hours since Khushi left from home. Her mom was a little worried 😧. That morning, Khushi 👩🏻‍💼was very excited and asked her if she could go to Joy’s 🧑🏻‍💼house 🏠 for a couple of hours to play a new electronic board game called “The Game of Life”.

On getting her mom’s permission, she was delighted 😃. She entered Joy’s house 🏠 and was eager to learn something new from Joy. Meanwhile, Joy’s dad 👨🏻‍💼who was a financial planner 💰 had also reached home with The Game of Life. 🎲

Joy’s dad told him and Khushi that this game was about making smart decisions related to money 💵.

They started to unbox 📦 the game and their eyes sparkled 🤩looking at the various components of this game. It was a combination of a board game and innovative gadgets like an electronic spinner and a handheld remote. It was much better than what they had imagined it to be🤔.

They went through the User Guide and quickly started to assemble the game, when Joy’s dad 👨🏻‍💼walked in. He told them that even he would like to join the game. Joy and Khushi were more than happy to play with him, as Joy’s dad had played the game before, hence they would be able to learn the game faster with his help.

Very often, Joy’s dad 👨🏻‍💼would give him an assignment along with playing a game. He had one this time too.

This time, both Joy 🧑🏻‍💼and Khushi 👩🏻‍💼were required to note 📝 down 5 points each about what they learnt from playing this game. He also set a time frame of 1 and a half hours to play and 15 minutes to write about what they learnt from the game. Khushi had mixed feelings, but she took it up positively 👍🏻as there was more time for play and less for work.

The Game of Life simulates a person’s journey🛄 through life. It represents how a person manoeuvres through his or her life, from education🎒, to jobs🏢, to family responsibilities👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, to retirement👵🏻🧓🏻.  Both Khushi👧🏻 and Joy 👦🏻found the game very fascinating. Though they hadn’t finished the game, they started pondering🤔💭 upon ways of earning money🤑, spending it💸, saving it🏦 as well as investing it💰💰. They quickly grabbed their notebooks📒 and started to make note of their learnings📝.

Khushi 👧🏻was late by more than an hour⏰ and she forgot😧 to inform this to her mom as she was completely engrossed in the game🎮. She apologized🙇🏻‍♀️ to her mom and told her about the new game that she played with Joy👦🏻 and showed her the notebook 📒where she had written about what she had learnt from the game. Her mom was proud of Khushi’s grasping ability and rewarded🏆 her by preparing her favourite dish🍽️ for dinner.
